Electronic Sheep

Designers Brenda Aherne and Helen Delany established the knitwear label Electronic Sheep in 1999. They graduated respectively in Fashion and Graphic Design from Dublin's National College of Art and Design with stints at Central Saint Martins, De Montfort University and The School of Visual Arts in New York.

They have lived and worked as designers in London, New York, Munich, Rome and Dublin. Working as fashion and graphic designers as well as on continuous art and design projects they have gained diverse experience and knowledge in the industry. They have designed for leading companies including Glamour Magazine, New York; Swarovski, ST Fashion for Sunday Telegraph, Time Warner, The Sunday Times and V&A Museum, London.

As a result of their combined disciplines they produce detailed graphic knitwear. Electronic Sheep are renowned for their strong visuals and unexpected colour. Their knitted ‘tapestry-esque' pieces have a cult following on the London and international Fashion scene.

January this year Electronic Sheep collaborated with breakthrough designer Bobby Abley on his Autumn Winter 18 Menswear 'Bobbyland' collection.

The Bobby Abley x Electronic Sheep knitwear collection includes eight designs across sweaters, blanket scarves and the brands signature triangle scarf.
